Las Arenas Villa is a eight-bedroom, neoclassical, southern antebellum style, single-family home within the Punta Cana Resort and Golf Club in the Province of La Altagracia on the eastern Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. The location is only a few minutes’ drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, which has over 60 flights per day arriving from all over the world.
The 13,000 square foot (1200 sq. meters) single-family home complex was built in 2008 for a member of the British royal family, and is privately situated on a 2 acre eco-sensitive property. The compound is comprised of three buildings; the central main house, the guest house and the staff house. The central main home has a spacious, classically-furnished living room, and an exquisitely decorated formal dining room. The luxurious master suite is appointed with a private bath, seating area and private terrace, and adjacent library, computer work station, and entertainment center with cable and projection television and bar. On the ground floor of the main house there are four king-size bedrooms with private baths, central dining room and bar. Artfully decorated interior and exterior terraces on the ground floor offer views of the pool, beautifully landscaped gardens and the crystal blue Caribbean Sea, beyond.
Upon entering the main courtyard of Las Arenas, the visitor views the guest house to the east, appointed with 4 bedrooms, two of which have twin beds and one with a child’s crib. All bedrooms in the tropically inspired decorated guest house have their own full baths and terraces. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and air conditioning as well as wi-fi network. To the western side of the courtyard is the kitchen, laundry and staff residence. The vehicle parking area is located behind staff residence.
The full-time Villa staff is comprised of five highly-skilled professionals; the cook, the housekeeper, waitress and gardener. In addition, our full-time concierge service will fulfill all your needs. There are rental golf carts available locally for use by our guests, as well.
We offer our most popular all-inclusive option to our most discerning guests. All food from our eclectic menu is prepared at Las Arenas by our award winning chef, Dorca. Our competent staff will serve you at the time and place of your choice. Wine and beer choices and our local rum cocktails from our well-stocked bar are also available at additional cost.
Meals are prepared at Las Arenas to your unique specifications. Our concierge will work closely with you upon your arrival to discover which meals and food best suit you and your guests. There are also eight restaurants within the resort to satisfy a wide variety of appetites, including “La Yola”, “Bamboo” located at the Tortuga Bay Hotel, “Playa Blanca Restaurant”, “The Grill”, “La Cana”, “Franco’s Trattoria”, “La Choza”, and Coccoloba”. There are more dining options right outside of the resort in the Punta Cana Village. There you can find Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Chinese, Dominican, American, and international cuisine. Alternatively, you may choose to acquire your own provisions at the nearby market to be prepared and served by our staff at Las Arenas.
Groceries and alcoholic beverages, are available and can be sourced locally, at cost to you. The Las Arenas experience encompasses the relaxed luxury of a hotel and the cozy privacy of your own home.
Each day your bedroom will be regularly cleaned and in the evening your beds turned down. All laundry will be collected each morning and returned the same day washed and ironed. If to your liking, the refreshment bars are set up at noon with cocktails and wine and again in the early evening for aperitifs before dinner with beer, wine and spirits acquired locally for you at cost.
Just a short golf cart ride away, there are four championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and P.B. Dye. If you are a tennis lover, six beautifully maintained tennis courts are available at the Resort. A two-minute walk will lead you to five kilometers of white sandy beaches and a crystal clear ocean. At the end of the beach, by the La Choza Restaurant, you will find the watersports center, which offers activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, and deep sea fishing excursions. If you continue down the beach, Punta Cana resort maintains the Ecological Foundation Reserve, which has 1,500 acres of nature and fresh water lagoons. The Reserve also boasts a small zoo populated with animals natural to the Dominican and an organic farm. If you travel down the beach in the opposite direction, toward Playa Blanca Beach, there is a Kite and Surf School, widely used by kite sailing lovers during the winter season, when the wind blows strongly southbound.
A five-minute walk will lead you to a gorgeous, three-mile long, white sandy beach gently kissing the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. At the end of the beach, by the La Choza restaurant, you will find a complete water sports center for diving, kayaking, sailing, and deep-sea fishing excursions. Also located on the beach, is the famous Punta Cana Resort Ecological Foundation Reserve, with 1500 acres of nature preserve featuring pristine fresh water lagoons for a cooling swim. The reserve also a boasts a small zoo populated with indigenous animal life and an organic farm. Walking down the beach in the opposite direction, toward Playa Blanca beach, there is a kite-surfing school, widely used by kite-surfing enthusiasts, where ideal wind conditions exist, most of the year.
The international renowned spa Six Senses is practically on your door step. This tropically exotic facility features Thai, Vietnamese and Shiatsu massage for individuals or couples, a beauty room, and treatment rooms ideal for couples. Each has its own relaxation area and steam room. Two outdoor treatment suites are surrounded by an herb garden and tropical plantings with private baths. As part of the spa's holistic focus, beauty and pampering treatments, hydrotherapy, yoga, pilates, reiki and meditation are also offered.
